The main objective of the CentralUkrainianEDIH is to stimulate digital and green transformation, innovation and energy efficiency for the development of sustainable and industrial regions of central Ukraine.

The consortium consists of 6 partners
+The role of the Coordinator will be performed by the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IOP), which is a research institution that actively interacts with SMEs and research centers and educational institutions.
Over 80 years IOP has developed strong international relations with innovation and research centers in many countries, including Europe, Asia, the CIS and the USA. The Institute was the coordinator of projects within the framework of the FP7, H2020, NATO, COSME, STCU programs, which demonstrates its expertise in coordinating different international initiatives.
IOP is the official representative of EEN in Ukraine, and also provides access to financing for SMEs and startups within the frameworks of: UkraineReady4EU, Seed Brave and EENergy. The latest initiative aimed at the development of energy efficiency of SMEs. IP of NASU implements Energy Electric Forum
The National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic" (DUT)
+Is the leading technological university of the Dnipro region. Its research schools focus on important aspects of energy, covering the entire life cycle from exploration of mineral deposits to post-mining and recultivation of industrial areas.
The university has qualified specialists ready to implement educational programs on the implementation of digital technologies and to cooperate with the industrial sector and local municipalities. DUT has experience in providing scientific research services, technical supervision and audit in various fields.
A project to create an experimental platform for low-carbon energy production is currently being implemented, which is characterized by an in-depth focus on the green transition.
The university also actively engages with digital and innovation initiatives and deploys high-tech centers, promoting the development of industries such as geoenergy, cyber security and technology support.
Educational and scientific centers, a business incubator and other initiatives at the university support innovative enterprises and contribute to the digital transformation of the region.
The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine (UCCI)
+It is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that unites 25 regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry in all regions of Ukraine, has many years of experience in supporting business and entrepreneurship development.
The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry actively works with entrepreneurs, providing consultations and support in various aspects of business. It is the official representative of EEN and Erasmus for young entrepreneurs.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry offers a wide range of services, including foreign trade consultations, commodity expertise, accredited testing laboratory, issuance of certificates of origin, and others.
The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry also acts as the founder and coordinator of 45 bilateral business councils, has representatives in 56 countries around the world, and has signed 174 international cooperation agreements. The organization helps companies improve their business and promotes the development of digital, green, and environmentally friendly initiatives through the Entrepreneurs’ Committee.
National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" (NU PP)
+It is defined as a leading higher educational institution, which is highly ranked in terms of the level of training of specialists and actively participates in innovative projects. Special focus is on digitization, energy efficiency, green energy and smart/additive manufacturing. Thanks to high-tech Siemens equipment and software, the university is ready to implement digital technologies and ensure cyber security.
Its training center according to IWCF standards specializes in training and certification of oil and gas specialists. The drilling process simulation laboratory is equipped with a modern DrillSIM:50 simulator for simulating drilling in real time. The university is installing a digital duplicate of the system in cooperation with Siemens and takes into account the industry specifics of the oil and gas industry of Ukraine.
Its success is based on partnerships with key players such as Ukrtransnafta JSC, Burova Technika LLC, Naftogaz, DTEK and others. Regular international forums promote the exchange of ideas and experience in the field of energy security.
NU PP is actively involved in improving the qualifications of specialists in the energy industry and participates in the project “Talent Development Program for Workers in Labor Professions”.
The university also provides consulting and technical support in the fields of cyber security and digital technologies for partners and clients.
The Ukrainian automotive and mobility cluster (UAMC)
+Was created by the leading manufacturers of components for the automotive industry, unites manufacturers, suppliers, service companies, educational institutions, associations of research institutes and state institutions.
The cluster is an active member of the Automotive Skills Alliance (ASA), a partner of EIT Urban Mobility and an active member of the European Automotive Cluster Network (EACN) and EIC Scale-up Club.
Ukrainian Automotive and Mobility Cluster aims to support and promote among members the initiatives of smart specialisation, better integration into European values chains, innovations, digital and green transition. From March 2022 AutoMoti became a co-founder of Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA).
For today AutoMoti became a full member of European Cluster Alliance(ECA) and registered at ECCP. From July 2022 UCA is a networking partner of EIT Manufacturing.
IT Dnipro Community (ITDC)
+Is a community that was founded in 2016 for the development of IT industries in Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region.
IT Dnipro Community today is 58 leading IT companies that together implement digital, educational, research and social projects, transforming the region into a strong IT location and creating a productive environment for developing and conducting IT business and promoting the digital transformation of SMEs/authorities.
Cooperation with partners will be organized after a short diagnostic analysis of the needs of target customers and after analyzing the capabilities of each partner. A service delivery matrix will be developed to define the specialization and capabilities of each partner.

+Test before invest
+Our consortium partners have laboratories, scientific and technical instruments, knowledge and various digital skills and technological expertise that allow companies to test digital and innovative technologies and make an informed decision about investing in various technologies and business processes.
Digital and Innovation Skills Development and Training
+The consortium partners will organize a series of information days and trainings on new digital and innovation technologies to improve the skills of client employees, increase the overall level of digital competence of employees of companies and/or public sector organizations, and create a strategic perspective for the development of SMEs/innovative startups in national and international markets.
Support in fundraising and investors attracting
+The consortium partners will assist private and public companies in finding international partners, investors, and sources of funding for their digital and innovation transformation requests, the introduction of new technologies, and the development of new digital services and business models.
It should be noted that the IOP and the UCCI are the official representatives of EEN in Ukraine, so they will be able to provide complementary services to find international partners using EEN services. The UAMC will help to obtain funding from EIT.
Networking and access to innovation ecosystems
+Our consortium will aim to develop the digital and innovation infrastructure of the Central Ukrainian regions, establish contacts between business and academia create a network to support the digital transformation of these regions, and create relevant innovation ecosystems and provide access to them.
The Central Ukrainian EDIH will create a regional network, closely cooperate with other ecosystems at the national and international levels, and integrate into the overall European EDIH network, as well as provide all services to customers in a “one-stop shop” mode.
